Becca & Ethel

Becca and Ethel bring a diverse set of experiences and influences to their development and design projects at Beach Plum.  Our approach is collaborative and creative.  Our goal is to honor and enhance the communities in which we work and take inspiration from each neighborhood's history and the natural environment.  We've found that we can see the beauty and potential in properties and architectural pieces that are overlooked.

A retired school principal, Ethel has always had an interest in and a flair for home design. Upon retiring from full time work as an educator, she entered into this arena with delight and gusto. She has built and renovated properties on Cape Cod and in Boston and its suburbs.  Ethel would describe herself as a creative problem solver with an interest in comfortable yet sophisticated style. Not afraid of color, pattern or a little glam, Ethel loves nothing better than a trip to a store filled with paint chips, tile samples or vintage decorative objects. Assisting others in expanding their view of what’s possible in creative home design is her favorite challenge.

With a background in non-profit management and experience founding and leading a consumer products company, Becca loves to build and shape new programs and products.  Becca has designed and built homes in Boston's South End and La Jolla, California and many special places in between.  She describes her style as modern coastal bohemian and loves to help clients find decorative pieces that fit their personal style, make their hearts sing, and take items off of their very long to-do lists.
